World DanceSport Federation opens up competition to all corners of the globe with Launchpad6 to find the next Youth Olympian

World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), the world governing body for DanceSport and Wheelchair DanceSport, wanted to open its competition to youth from anywhere in the world regardless of finances, location, or prior experience. To support qualification for the Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018, WDSF turned to Launchpad6 and its ContestPad enterprise platform to create an online video submission system that could handle global participation.

Launchpad6 delivered a multi-language contest platform with custom development, hosting, and support, enabling entrants to upload videos from phones, tablets, and computers and share them on social media. The result was more than 1,000 entries, over 770,000 views, 220,000 video plays, 36,000 votes, and 86,000 social shares, with peak traffic reaching over 1,000 requests per minute.
