Weber State University partnered with Launchpad6 to run its Outdoor Weber Competition, a global entrepreneurship challenge for outdoor recreation business ideas. The university needed a better way to handle online submissions, public voting, and multiple judging rounds, including live finalist presentations, instead of relying on a manual process.

Launchpad6 implemented ContestPad with video contest hosting, an embedded entry form and voting gallery, and online/live judging tools to manage the entire competition from start to finish. The result was 160+ student entries, 211,000+ public votes, and 400,000+ page visits in five weeks, while also helping students turn ideas into real businesses and enabling Weber State to use the pitch content for research.
