Luxury Escapes teams up with Launchpad6 to find a new and innovative way to capture the attention of travellers

Luxury Escapes, part of the Lux Group and one of Australia’s fastest-growing travel businesses, wanted a fresh and innovative way to capture the attention of potential travellers. To move beyond the traditional agency model and tap into the passion of its audience, the company partnered with Launchpad6 and used its ContestPad platform to run a user-generated video competition.

With Launchpad6’s ContestPad, Luxury Escapes launched a “Make our Ad” contest that let entrants upload videos from phones, tablets, and computers, vote, and share submissions socially. The campaign generated 40 unique entries, more than 90,000 views, over 4,000 votes, and 2,300 contacts, while also building a list of 40+ content creators and producing a winning video that became a new TV ad campaign.
