Lamacchia Realty, a top-rated real estate brokerage, faced significant challenges with its inefficient and unreliable lead assignment system. The existing process, which synced data between Salesforce and AWS, was slow, prone to timeouts, and resulted in data inaccuracies. To address this, they partnered with LaunchPad Lab to build a more reliable and faster system utilizing Heroku and Ruby on Rails.
LaunchPad Lab implemented a solution using Heroku Connect for a bi-directional sync with a Postgres database and developed a Ruby on Rails application to handle the complex lead assignment logic. This new system eliminated erroneous lead assignments overnight, removing the need for manual intervention from sales staff. The successful rollout provided Lamacchia Realty with a streamlined process and the confidence to focus on other key areas of their business, later leveraging the new system for additional lead flows.
