How Hireology enables faster, safer software delivery and migration

Hireology needed a faster, safer way to ship software and support a major migration, as its open-source feature flag tool could no longer meet the team’s speed requirements. After adding Datadog for observability, Hireology turned to LaunchDarkly to modernize releases and reduce the risks of frequent deployments across frontend, backend, and mobile.

With LaunchDarkly, Hireology adopted feature flags broadly and moved toward trunk-based development, replacing about 10 active QA environments with a single QA environment. The result was a simpler QA process, lower infrastructure hosting costs, and a much faster release cycle—“night and day,” according to the team—while also setting the stage for a large-scale migration.
