Bayer’s digital farming arm improves reliability for critical apps

Bayer’s digital farming arm, Climate LLC, needed to improve the reliability of its critical FieldView apps, especially the FieldView Cab App used by farmers during planting, management, and harvest. Because outages or malfunctions could lead to data loss and inaccurate results, Bayer turned to LaunchDarkly and feature management to better control app behavior across versions and geographies.

LaunchDarkly implemented feature management across the development organization, helping Bayer support trunk-based development and stabilize the user experience. The result was improved reliability for key applications and greater confidence in the platform used by farmers in 23 countries, reducing the risk of disruptions during mission-critical operations.
