The nation’s leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO), which provides HR services including compliance and training to small and medium businesses across the U.S., faced a failing learning management system (LMS). The legacy client‑server LMS required heavy customizations, complex PC installations, and manual corporate intervention for reports and admin tasks, ran at only about 25% capacity, and created data fragmentation and an administrative bottleneck.
The PEO implemented the web‑based Latitude Learning LMS, importing ten years of training history (back to 1994) and giving hundreds of users immediate access. A new Client Administrator role let clients run reports, view transcripts, register employees and manage courses themselves, eliminating redundancies and the manual bottleneck. Key results: report time cut from 48 hours to 30 minutes, employee registration from 48 hours to immediate, roster processing from two weeks before class to two days after, and certificate requests from two weeks to immediate, with reduced administrative effort and cost.
