Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (Chrysler Group) operates roughly 6,000 dealerships across the US, Canada and more than 90 other countries, and needed consistent, up-to-date training and certification for sales, service and parts staff. Their existing LMS lacked the automation and flexibility to capture complex certification rules and changing training paths, required frequent custom development, and placed a heavy administrative burden on corporate and dealership owners who spent too much time locating, assigning and scheduling required training.
Chrysler selected LatitudeLearning to provide a centralized, scalable SCORM‑compliant LMS with a rule‑based certification engine, auto‑enrollment, geographic filtering of instructor‑led courses and extended‑enterprise features for a global user base (over 300,000 users). The new system reduced administrative time, let two corporate admins modify certification rules, automated scheduling and enrollments for dealers, and delivered greater certification flexibility, multilingual support and overall cost/time improvements across the dealership network.
