The Protocall Group is a family-owned, full-service recruitment and staffing firm with 50 years’ experience that places about 2,500 temporary employees weekly for clients across South Jersey and Philadelphia. Facing manual, paper-based timekeeping at several customer sites, the company wrestled with timecard errors and lengthy payroll reconciliation that consumed hours of managers’ time and hindered efficiency.

Protocall deployed Lathem’s PayClock Online cloud-based time & attendance system at four customer locations, integrating it with their Avionte payroll software to eliminate manual entry and enable anytime, anywhere access. The move cut payroll processing from about four–five hours a week to one–two hours (a 60% reduction), reduced errors, improved scheduling and supervisor access controls, and is being rolled out to additional sites.
