A Lathem Case Study
Aerotronics, an avionics service company in Billings, Montana with 23 hourly, field-based employees, needed a time and attendance system that worked outside the office and gave staff and managers easy, timely access to records. Their challenge was replacing an office-bound solution with a tool that could quickly and efficiently track punches and simplify payroll reconciliation for crews often onsite with customers.
They implemented Lathem’s cloud-based PC600 PayClock, letting employees clock in/out via a touchscreen, web browser or phone while aggregating punch data online for easy editing, custom pay codes and controlled user access. The system saved hours of administrative work, freed management to focus on customers, reduced payroll preparation time by half, cut payroll costs 2–3%, and helped curb time theft while exporting clean data to payroll platforms like ADP and QuickBooks.
