How Trident worked with Later to leverage micro- and macro-influencers across TikTok and Instagram

Trident, a Mondelēz International brand, needed an efficient influencer-driven campaign to boost awareness and in‑store purchases of TRIDENT Pocket Packs at 7‑Eleven while operating on roughly half the expected budget and under tight brand and timing constraints. To meet these goals they partnered with Phoenix Creative and Later Influence, using Later Influence’s influencer marketing platform and professional services to source, brief, negotiate with, and manage creators across TikTok and Instagram.

Later Influence activated a mix of micro- and macro‑influencers to produce 70 pieces of content, resulting in 1.7M total impressions, 117,400 total engagements and a 7.7% average engagement rate for in‑feed content; TikTok alone delivered 1.3M impressions and 95.8K engagements, and Instagram delivered 351K impressions and 21.6K engagements. Negotiation and platform support from Later Influence expanded creator participation despite the reduced budget, drove 5,200 clicks (avg. CPC $6.11), and included standout posts like Anthony x Ana’s TikTok (1.1M views, 77.5K likes).
