HSO, a global software organization serving 2,100+ clients, faced a fragmented approach to password management as teams used disparate vault tools and operated in silos. To standardize security and adopt a cloud-first, user-friendly solution, HSO chose LastPass and deployed LastPass Business to unify password practices across its international workforce.

LastPass implemented individual vaults, Shared Folders, administrative policies and directory integration with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure) to automate provisioning and deprovisioning, enable federated login, and control sharing/export settings. The LastPass deployment migrated seamlessly, drove swift adoption through local Champions, centralized password management for remote teams, improved password hygiene, and empowered administrators while preventing external sharing and enabling instant access revocation.
