CoderDojo, a Dublin-based nonprofit led by Executive Director Giustina Mizzoni that teaches web development to kids worldwide, faced challenges from a distributed, remote team and inconsistent password practices. To securely share access and reduce complacency around weak credentials, they adopted LastPass as their password management solution.

LastPass provided shared folders, secure password sharing, auto-generated passwords and a Security Challenge that identified several weak credentials. As a result, CoderDojo replaced many weak passwords with complex, auto-generated ones, segmented access by team (e.g., technical vs. communications) and improved overall online security and collaboration across their global organization.
