A LastPass Case Study

Preview of the Tarox Case Study

Leading DACH distributor Tarox AG invests in LastPass for enhanced cybersecurity and compliance

Tarox AG, a leading DACH computer-hardware distributor serving over 1,000 clients with 190+ employees, faced rising cybersecurity threats, growing compliance requirements (NIST 2.0, GDPR), and the need to standardize identity and password management across its business and customers. To tackle these challenges, Tarox partnered with LastPass to adopt enterprise password and identity management tools, including deploying LastPass licenses and training through LastPass University, to improve security hygiene, simplify administration, and drive customer adoption.

LastPass implemented a scalable password and access management solution—deploying 150 LastPass licenses, providing ongoing account support and training—that produced measurable results: real-time weak-password alerts and automated strength enforcement, secure password sharing and centralized admin reporting, and demonstrable alignment with NIST 2.0 and GDPR requirements. By using LastPass, Tarox reduced the risk of breaches and unauthorized access, streamlined operations for customers, and strengthened its cybersecurity offering and compliance posture.
