Case Study: Axxor achieves secure, scalable password management and SaaS visibility with LastPass

A LastPass Case Study

Preview of the Axxor Case Study

How Axxor Secured Global Operations and Embraced SaaS Visibility with LastPass

Axxor, a global manufacturer of paper honeycomb with sites in the Netherlands, Poland, and the United States, faced inconsistent and risky password practices—credentials on Post‑its, shared informally, and stored in browsers—without a formal IT function. To secure its distributed operations and gain visibility as it adopted more SaaS tools, Axxor selected LastPass, initially testing the Families as a Benefit plan before building a business case for an enterprise rollout.

LastPass was deployed company‑wide in a matter of months: Wout Zwiep led 16 training sessions across four user groups, implemented SSO for onboarding, and piloted SaaS Monitoring and SaaS Protect. The rollout now secures over 75 accounts managed centrally, enables secure credential sharing without revealing passwords, improves productivity through faster, safer access, and gives leadership visibility to detect and guide risky app usage—helping Axxor replace insecure habits and grow a stronger security culture.
