Simplifying Medicaid Billing to Serve Kansas School Districts

Greenbush, the Southeast Kansas Education Service Center serving 117 school districts and 18 infant toddler networks, needed a better way to manage complex Medicaid billing information. Its legacy Google Drive-based file-sharing system was hard to navigate, lacked searchability, and required too much manual effort from staff and district contacts.

Greenbush implemented Laserfiche Cloud with help from Laserfiche solution provider Modified Logic to streamline document collection, search, and compliance management. The new Laserfiche system improved collaboration, accuracy, and transparency, while automating forms, routing, OCR-based invoicing, and record classification; Greenbush also eliminated hand-keying for more than 175 remittance devices each week, reclaiming time for staff to focus on students and families.
