Shufro Rose is a New York City–based independent wealth management firm serving more than 1,200 clients and $1.5 billion in AUM. When COVID-19 hit New York in March 2020 the firm suddenly had to shift to remote work while continuing to serve clients, preserve compliance, and keep operations running without disruption.

By digitizing processes with Laserfiche—electronic account-opening and maintenance forms, automated workflows, and DocuSign integration—Shufro Rose standardized data capture, automated routing and approvals, and maintained WORM-compliant records with full audit trails. The automation supported high-volume activity (189 new accounts in 2019 and about 10,000 money-movement transactions) and enabled a seamless remote transition: the firm continued onboarding clients, executing transactions, reassigning tasks quickly, and maintaining business as usual throughout the crisis.
