RRRDC - Customer Case Study

Red River Regional Dispatch Center (RRRDC) is the nation’s first bi‑state consolidated 911 center, serving Fargo–Moorhead and coordinating emergency response across 58 agencies in two counties and two states. During a 2009 upgrade to New World’s CAD/RMS/CMS, RRRDC needed an enterprise content management system that would integrate with New World, provide secure, role‑based access to reports, photos and warrants for hundreds of distributed users, and simplify records retention and compliance.

RRRDC implemented Laserfiche with integration built by reseller Cities Digital, enabling one‑click access from New World to corresponding Laserfiche folders, direct scanning/upload from the New World interface, and DoD 5015.2‑certified records management for automated classification and retention. Using Laserfiche Web Access, Active Directory security, and Workflow automation for routing and approvals, agencies gained faster, secure access to documents, reduced clerical work and duplicate searches, improved compliance, and saved significant staff time and costs.
