A Laserfiche Case Study
The County of Newell in Alberta, Canada was looking to support growth and improve public service by digitizing and automating everyday business processes. As a long-time Laserfiche customer, the county needed a better way to manage public records, streamline workflows, and reduce manual work across departments using Laserfiche and its records management tools.
Laserfiche helped the County of Newell centralize records, automate document routing, and connect systems for accounts payable, audits, and other workflows. The results included faster invoice processing, stronger FOIP and privacy compliance, a 58% drop in COR audit data inaccuracy to below 10%, and a reduction in end-to-end audit processing time from 135 days to 5.2 days; the county also reported a 27% increase in value-added time.
