Onboard New Users with Laserfiche Forms

Accelerated Information Systems (AIS), a lean Laserfiche reseller with fewer than ten employees and no dedicated HR department, needed to automate new-employee onboarding so billable staff could spend more time with clients. The challenge was to capture and store accurate employee data, provision secure access, and teach new hires how to use Laserfiche tools without adding administrative overhead.

AIS implemented Laserfiche Forms and Workflows: new hires complete an Employee Details form that creates a folder and inserts records into the HR database, and are assigned a temporary PIN that must be changed via a digitally signed PIN Change form within one day. The system auto-populates future forms using Employee ID + PIN, hides the PIN after use, and sends automated notifications. Results: faster, more accurate onboarding, reduced duplicate data entry, improved security, and immediate hands-on training with Laserfiche Forms and digital signatures.
