A Laserfiche Case Study
NWFM, a Yakima, Washington farm investment and property management company, was struggling to scale a paper-based accounts payable process as its operations and invoice volume grew. To address the challenge, NWFM turned to Laserfiche and its cloud content services platform to digitize invoices, improve AP workflow, and increase transparency between its central office, field teams, and out-of-state investors.
Using Laserfiche, NWFM implemented a customized digital AP system with invoice routing, email import, purchase order integration, and remote upload capabilities. The results included processing growth from 250 invoices per month to more than 1,000, hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings, improved invoice accuracy, and over $14,000 in annual billing error avoidance, while also increasing investor confidence through real-time access to financial documents.
