By scanning invoices into Laserfiche and using Laserfiche Workflow and Quick Fields, VVTA automated routing, reminders, approval batching, metadata extraction and check attachment, with a complete audit trail on each document. The result: processing time dropped from hours-long cycles to just a few hours, payments are issued within 48 hours instead of a week, misfiling and lost originals were eliminated, remote approvals are possible, and overall accountability and efficiency improved.
