Using Laserfiche Forms and workflow automation, Steinhafels replaced 100+ paper and nonstandard forms with a smaller set of electronic, pre-populating forms and automated steps (requisition approvals, posting to job sites, application storage, background-check triggers, new-hire folder creation, automated emails and retention purges). The changes eliminated duplicate data entry, kept IT involvement minimal, saved about $80,000 annually by avoiding HR headcount growth, freed staff time for employee engagement, and expanded automated forms from HR into other departments.
