Kids Clinic provides consultations, evaluations and treatment for children with developmental, behavioral and psychiatric needs, but its patient journey spans months and involved many handoffs, paper forms and repeated data entry. To manage referrals, scheduling, forms and records more efficiently, Kids Clinic implemented Laserfiche to automate its patient file workflow and connect it with its Jonoke EMR system.

With Laserfiche, Kids Clinic automated metadata lookup, routing, shortcuts and form prepopulation across the care process, including Laserfiche Forms and Laserfiche Workflow. The result was that clinicians could see their assigned patients at a glance, administrators could spot bottlenecks and track performance, wait times were reduced, and data entry errors and effort decreased thanks to automatic field population and calculations.
