How Educational Service District 112 Processes Agreements with Laserfiche and Signix

Educational Service District 112, which supports school districts across Washington and other western states, needed a faster way to manage a high volume of interlocal purchasing agreements. With hundreds of districts and up to 750 renewals pending at times, the manual process was burdensome and could take a week or more per contract before using Laserfiche.

Laserfiche implemented Forms, Workflow, and an integration with Signix e-signatures to automate submission, review, routing, signing, and filing of agreements. The result was a reduction of more than 90% in processing time, from about 45 minutes per contract to just minutes, with 25 signed contracts completed in the first two days and mailing costs eliminated.
