Breckenridge Grand Vacations, which manages three timeshare resorts (and is building a fourth) with about 400 employees and a 25% turnover rate, faced a paper-heavy, error-prone onboarding process. Hiring managers filled lengthy Excel forms, routed them by interoffice mail across eight locations for signatures, and HR manually re-entered data — often discovering missing or incorrect information and causing delays in IT provisioning and orientation.
By replacing the paper workflow with a single Laserfiche Forms submission, Breckenridge automated data entry, approvals and notifications. The form uses drop-downs, conditional fields, database lookups, read-only approver fields and custom logic for start dates, and supports email-based approval with reminders. As a result HR and IT get accurate, timely information before a new hire’s first day, forms can be maintained by HR staff without IT help, managers can approve from email, and employee data is more secure and reliable.
