GMX Seguros, one of Mexico’s leading insurance companies, faced paper-heavy workflows, slow claims processing, and growing compliance demands that made it difficult to deliver fast customer service. To replace a legacy document management system, the company turned to Laserfiche to digitize and better organize policy, claims, and regulatory documents.
Laserfiche implemented a centralized digital repository and automated workflows integrated with GMX Seguros’ claims system, customer portal, and API connections. The result was a 75% increase in claims handling capacity, a reduction in claims processing time from more than 15 days to less than five, and in some cases same-day processing. GMX Seguros also reported 20% to 30% growth in other business areas, along with faster audit preparation and improved response during Hurricane Otis claims.
