A Laserfiche Case Study
The Idaho Department of Correction (IDOC), which manages information across nearly two dozen facilities with about 2,000 staff, needed a better way to streamline complex document and client information management. With multiple business systems, legal requirements, and a large volume of records to handle, IDOC turned to Laserfiche to create a more standardized and integrated approach to information access and workflow.
Laserfiche helped IDOC connect its client management system with Laserfiche Forms and APIs, automate data entry, digitize medical records, and improve searchability and access control. As a result, IDOC saved considerable costs by eliminating physical storage and file shipping, reduced lost or misfiled information, increased accuracy, and improved staff efficiency through automation and better data standardization.
