Dakotaland Federal Credit Union, a not‑for‑profit financial cooperative serving nearly 40,000 members across 11 branches, faced the challenges of rapid growth, rising regulatory demands and aging, paper‑based systems that hindered collaboration and service delivery. Dakotaland implemented Laserfiche electronic records, forms and business process automation to digitize records, preserve compliance and streamline operations. The solution now runs nearly 250 automated workflows and about 100 active forms, accelerating HR onboarding, vendor and mortgage processes, enabling a quick COVID‑era shift to remote work, saving staff hours on routine tasks and improving cross‑branch collaboration and regulatory reporting.
