A Laserfiche Case Study
Bergen Community College, a 13,000-student community college in the U.S., faced an end-of-life legacy document system and needed an out-of-the-box, low-code solution that integrated with existing systems and met strict records requirements. The college used this as an opportunity to reimagine student services and campus processes, especially its One Stop student services center.
Working with Accelerated Information Systems, BCC implemented Laserfiche (Forms, BPM, Records Management and integrations) to digitize and automate more than 80 processes. The change cut One Stop foot traffic by about 50%, enabled online workflows for placement, grade changes, dual enrollment and HEERF grants (13,000 submissions), and saved the college more than 20,000 hours—nearly $1 million—in hard cost savings while fostering continuous campuswide innovation.
