AUC Modernizes Records and Processes Campus-wide

The American University in Cairo (AUC) needed to retire a legacy document management system and move paper-based records into a modern platform that could improve information management and process automation. Working with Laserfiche and a Laserfiche solution provider, AUC sought a centralized, scalable content services system to support campus-wide records, governance, and faster service delivery.

Laserfiche implemented records management, secure content migration, forms-based workflows, and integrations with systems like Banner and SAP to automate admissions and other campus processes. The results included improved retrieval efficiency, faster response times, and greater transparency, with over 25,000 student records migrated, more than 1 million admissions records moved, and over 320,000 records processed in two years, helping AUC eliminate millions of paper documents and advance its paperless goal.
