Aspire Zone Foundation - Customer Case Study

Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) is a major sports city in Qatar—home to the Aspire Dome and Aspire Academy—and operates three large member organisations through a shared IT service. Faced with high volumes of paper and diverse user groups (coaches, medical staff, engineers, administrators), AZF needed a cost-effective enterprise content management (ECM) platform that could treat each unit as a separate line of business while supporting strong business process management and driving user adoption through change management.

AZF selected Laserfiche after user evaluations and implemented it in phases, building a customised Laserfiche Workspace for correspondence, integrating with SharePoint and the enterprise social platform SPRINT/Aspire Connect, and automating workflows with single sign-on and version control. The rollout centralized and standardized document handling, boosted productivity and security, prevented roughly half a million papers from being created, supported 2,000 users across 70+ departments, and delivered an estimated US$630,000 annual savings in handling, labor and storage costs.
