A Laserfiche Case Study
Arthur McKay, a U.K. building services and maintenance contractor founded in 1958, faced growing paperwork as business expanded—creating delays in processing project files, limited storage space, misfiled or missing documents, and difficulty providing fast, secure access to staff, clients and auditors across multiple offices and sites. The firm also needed to demonstrate compliance with accreditations such as ISO 9001 and 14001 while reducing paper consumption.
Working with reseller Capital Solutions, Arthur McKay implemented Laserfiche document management (including Quick Fields and Web Access), trained staff, and began scanning an average of 3,000 documents (10,000 pages) weekly. Automated indexing cut processing from hours to minutes, remote Web Access gave clients and auditors secure, instant visibility, compliance monitoring was simplified, paper use fell, and overall project delivery and client satisfaction improved.
