Maple Lodge Farms, Canada’s largest chicken processor, faced growing product-development complexity—launching as many as 30 new processed products and over 100 packaging formats annually—while relying on fragmented, manual tools that made it hard to find, validate, and reuse specifications. To address slow time-to-market, low productivity, and increased risk of errors, Maple Lodge Farms selected Lascom and its Lascom CPG R&D Solution to provide a web-based, customizable, integrated system that would link data and documents and replace re-keying and ad hoc approval processes.

Lascom implemented a centralized CPG solution that integrates with Microsoft Word and Excel and ESHA’s Genesis to synchronize formulations, labels, and nutritional data, automates review-and-approval workflows, and provides searchable reporting and task automation. As a result, Lascom now manages over 1,000 products for Maple Lodge Farms, supports more than 25 users across R&D, Purchasing, QA, Sales, Finance and Production, and has improved productivity, shortened product development cycles, reduced re-keying and errors, and strengthened audit readiness—enabling faster, higher-quality product launches.
