Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) sought to better engage its vast membership base digitally. They were struggling with low engagement from traditional emails, which only garnered a 1.2% click-through rate, and needed a more flexible, easily manageable solution to reach members at the right moment. To address this challenge, MSUFCU partnered with vendor Larky for their nudge® platform.
Larky implemented a pilot program using their platform to send targeted push notifications based on member behaviors and location. The solution was a significant success, driving an aggregate tap rate of 16% across all nudges and an impressive 47% tap rate over 60 days. For MSUFCU, Larky provided a next-level ability to meet members where they are, resulting in dramatically higher engagement and successful campaigns for offers and feedback.
