Secura Key - Customer Case Study

Secura Key, a manufacturer of access control and RFID products, needed to upgrade its industrial security panel to offer both wired and wireless remote management capabilities. The challenge was to embed this network connectivity directly into their product as a standard feature, moving beyond their previous solution which used an external device server from their vendor, Lantronix.

Lantronix provided the solution by embedding its XPort and WiPort modules into Secura Key's new control panel. This integration saved an estimated six months of development time, lowered installation and purchase costs for dealers, and allowed the company to compete more effectively with a modern, network-compatible product. The result was the successful launch of the SK-ACP Advanced Control Panel, which helps customers reduce insurance costs, prevent theft, and leverage their existing local area networks.
