Brooklyn Hospital chooses Lantronix Remote Management Solution

The Brooklyn Hospital Center, an independent community hospital in New York, was challenged by its inability to remotely monitor and control the network infrastructure across its 10 sites. This became a critical issue during COVID-19 lockdowns when the IT team was prevented from accessing the facilities. They needed a solution to manage their Cisco networking gear without being physically present.

Lantronix implemented its out-of-band management solution using the LM83X Console Server and Control Center. This provided the hospital's IT team with centralized, real-time monitoring and remote control of all network devices from any location. The Lantronix solution eliminated the need for physical site visits, enabling remote deployments, upgrades, and access to locally stored configuration files, which significantly improved operational efficiency.
