Midtherm Laser, a subcontract laser cutting specialist, needed a better way to manage high volumes of quotations, production data and administrative work across multiple disconnected systems. As order volumes grew, the company wanted to improve visibility of parts through the production cycle, maintain quality and repeatability, and reduce lead times while handling around 40,000 parts per week.

Lantek implemented its CAD/CAM and ERP software, including Lantek Expert, Lantek Integra and Lantek Manager, to unify quoting, nesting, production control, inventory and invoicing in one system. The result was faster administration, better collaboration and instant tracking of parts, with lead times reduced from 5-7 days to 4-5 days and profits increasing by 10-15%, while output rose using the same machinery.
