Case Study: National Health Service (NHS) achieves full PC visibility and rapid mass deployments with Lansweeper

A Lansweeper Case Study

Preview of the National Health Service Case Study

National Health Service - Customer Case Study

The National Health Service, supporting a medium-size acute hospital with about 4,500 users and serving ~400,000 people, faced a critical visibility problem: asset information lived in a spreadsheet and the IT team had little idea what PCs, OS versions or specs were on the estate just as a one-month deadline loomed for a new Patient Administration System rollout. Lansweeper was trialed to discover devices and gather hardware and OS data remotely.

By deploying Lansweeper’s discovery, reporting and deployment features, the team built an accurate inventory, generated reports that determined exactly how many RAM modules to buy, prioritized OS upgrades, and remotely installed a new client on hundreds of PCs in a single day. Lansweeper also gave the service desk instant PC/last-login visibility, removing guesswork, speeding deployments and producing clear, measurable time and cost savings.
