Intility, led by Technical Lead Christoffer Stolpestad, needed a scalable, dependable, and integrable tool to manage devices for many companies across more than 1,600 locations. During the May 2017 WannaCry outbreak they faced the urgent challenge of quickly identifying potentially vulnerable machines; Intility selected Lansweeper as their inventory and reporting solution to gain the necessary visibility.

Lansweeper was deployed as Intility’s primary discovery and asset database, integrated with their support system and customer portal and even providing a dedicated WannaCry vulnerability report. As a result, Intility gained real-time transparency and automatic reporting across 40,000 assets and 30,000 end users, speeding support calls with instant user/computer context and enabling proactive identification of risks, vulnerabilities and non‑compliance before they became incidents.
