St. Cloud’s unique needs become urgent with Covid-19 closures

St. Cloud Area School District faced the urgent challenge of implementing a distance learning program, a need accelerated by both frequent winter weather and the Covid-19 pandemic. Their unique student body, which includes a high percentage of English Language Learners with little prior technology experience, required a tool to help teachers guide digital learning and maintain student focus remotely. They turned to LanSchool's cloud-based classroom management software, LanSchool Air, for a solution.

The implementation of LanSchool Air provided teachers with crucial features like screen monitoring, push website, and messaging, which were essential for guiding students and maintaining engagement. The solution was easily managed alongside their Lenovo Chromebooks and Schoology LMS. The results were highly positive, with teacher adoption growing from an initial 15 to nearly 250 users in the first year purely through word-of-mouth recommendations. LanSchool gave the district the tools to ensure educational continuity and help students develop critical digital literacy skills.
