Forest Hills supports better teaching with technology using LanSchool Air

Forest Hills Public Schools, a district in Michigan, needed a classroom management tool to help teachers keep nearly 10,000 students on task while using shared Chromebooks. The challenge was to manage device usage by student Google accounts rather than by the specific hardware, as it was not a one-to-one environment. Teachers were losing valuable instructional time simply trying to get all students on the same webpage.

The district implemented Lenovo LanSchool, a cloud-based SaaS solution from Lenovo. This allowed teachers to monitor student activity, blank screens to regain focus, and push out websites instantly through students' Google accounts. The results led to more efficient instruction, with teachers reporting a significant difference in keeping students focused. Lenovo LanSchool was easily deployed district-wide, saving teachers time and enabling more effective control of the learning environment.
