DaVita, the largest independent dialysis provider in the U.S., needed a standardized, efficient computing environment across more than 1,300 locations while supporting thousands of desktops and laptops spread across clinics and remote sites. To meet that challenge, DaVita used LANDESK Management Suite to manage updates, patches, remote users, and software compliance more effectively.

With LANDESK, DaVita deployed Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 to over 4,000 computers at about 500 sites, reaching 80% patch penetration at remote facilities within 30 days and finishing the rollout in the next 30 days. The company also reported direct savings of $400,000, faster helpdesk resolution, better resource utilization, improved license compliance, and higher productivity for both users and IT staff.
