Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), a nonprofit focused on advancing diagnostics and treatments for complex diseases, needed a better way to produce IT service management reports. Its existing reporting process was not ITSM-aligned, was time-consuming, and required manual checking and repeated training to use older tools effectively. Landesk’s Xtraction self-service reporting solution, used with BMC Service Desk Express, helped address these challenges.
Landesk implemented Xtraction to deliver real-time metrics, historical data, dashboards, and reports through a simple interface. The result was a major boost in efficiency: TGen could generate dashboards and reports in minutes, gain better visibility into its ITSM posture, and build both required and previously unimagined reports much more easily.
