A Landesk Case Study
The District of Columbia Government needed a cost-effective, scalable desktop management solution to unify nearly 100 agencies and improve control over inventory, security, and support. It turned to Landesk and the LANDESK Management Suite to help standardize systems and respond faster to urgent IT needs.
Landesk implemented LANDESK Management Suite across the District’s environment, enabling remote support, real-time inventory polling, and centralized helpdesk management. The results included closing about 85% of tickets remotely, faster patch deployment from weeks to two days, and snow-emergency staffing reduced from 32 people at 16 sites to 8 at one site, saving roughly $500,000 in the 2004 snow season.
