Bodhicharya, an international non-profit, engaged Lambert Labs to modernize their offering by transcribing a vast archive of over 250,000 minutes of audio and video teachings. Their challenge was to build a scalable pipeline to process this archive and handle new uploads, aiming to enhance accessibility and enable future AI projects.

Lambert Labs built a scalable, serverless AWS pipeline leveraging Amazon Transcribe to generate formatted transcripts and synchronized subtitles. The solution processed the entire archive and handles all new content, with over 4,000 hours transcribed and 1,000 subtitles generated. Lambert Labs' implementation, which included a custom vocabulary feature, provided substantial cost savings and successfully widened accessibility to Bodhicharya's resources.
