How Subaru Utilized Totara to Consolidate Its Training Programs While Slashing Costs

Subaru Canada worked with Lambda Solutions to modernize and consolidate its fragmented training environment across 94 dealerships nationwide. The company was struggling with multiple legacy systems for Sales and Aftersales training, including Flash-based content, Excel-based reporting, and paper/video processes that were difficult to track, certify, and keep compliant, especially with bilingual and regional reporting requirements.

Lambda Solutions implemented Totara Learn as a single cloud-based LMS for Subaru Academy, creating separate Sales and Aftersales “campuses,” custom learning paths, SSO, and analytics through Zoola Analytics. The result was faster course delivery, stronger compliance reporting, improved usability and accessibility, reduced troubleshooting from days or weeks to hours, elimination of two LMSs, lower eLearning costs, and no LMS downtime since the switch.
