Assiniboine Community College Doubled Its User Base & Reduced Annual Costs by Half

Assiniboine Community College (ACC), a community college in Manitoba, Canada, needed a more reliable learning management system after years of self-hosting Moodle led to technical issues, unscheduled downtime, and too much staff time spent troubleshooting. To address this, ACC worked with Lambda Solutions and moved to a hosted Moodle environment, specifically the Moodle Professional Cloud Bundle with Lambda Analytics.

Lambda Solutions implemented the hosted Moodle solution, handled migration and setup, and provided ongoing technical expertise and support. As a result, ACC doubled its Moodle user base to 3,000 active users, cut annual costs to less than half of its former WebCT/Blackboard spend, reduced the steps needed to create new courses, and gained a stable platform that freed IT staff to focus on improving learning experiences rather than fixing technical problems.
