How the vaccine-making unit of Sinopharm makes Laiye intelligent automation a crucial part of its digitalization strategy
China National Biotec Group (CNBG), the vaccine-making unit of Sinopharm and China’s largest biotech company, needed to improve business efficiency, strengthen data security, and reduce repetitive manual work as order volumes and customer audit demands surged. To address these challenges, CNBG launched a pilot with Laiye’s RPA+AI hyper-automation technology to support order processing, customer file audits and data entry, and master data maintenance.
Using Laiye software robots with OCR and other AI capabilities, CNBG automated key workflows across its marketing operations center, including order handling, customer qualification checks, and master data updates. The results included 100% end-to-end automation in customer audits, 100% data accuracy, 12,624 orders processed by robots during the trial, 412 hours saved per month, and a 15–20% improvement in accuracy rates, helping CNBG move toward 24/7 operations and broader digital transformation.
