American Resort Development Association delivers 400 graphics and more than doubles attendance with LAI Live

The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) needed to produce a large-scale in-person conference after a full year of virtual events, a challenge complicated by evolving CDC and travel restrictions during the planning process. They partnered with event production vendor LAI Live to navigate these unique circumstances and deliver a successful onsite experience.

LAI Live implemented a solution focused on adaptable programming and socially distanced scenic design, including minimalistic sets with color-changing lightboxes and adjusted room layouts. The result was a conference that felt comfortable and familiar, which was attended by more than double the expected number of registrants. LAI Live successfully produced six general sessions, an award ceremony, and breakouts, demonstrating that live events were making a strong comeback.
